The name says it clearly: we create paintings, murals and illustrations for children. Instead of generic posters, you can commission original artwork tailored to your child’s room, personality and interests.
For murals, we always work from sketches prepared in advance together with parents and child.
Illustrations can be used in many formats: invitations, birthday surprises, children’s books, prints and custom gifts.
In short: real artwork, made specifically for children.
Mural projects are led by De Spinnekoppen founder and professional illustrator Chrischa Van de Voorde. She graduated from KASK (School of Arts) and has years of experience in painting, illustration, comics and animation.

- What type of murals do you offer?
- Our murals are designed for indoor spaces and especially for children. Fantasy worlds, animals, story scenes and imaginative themes fit our style best.
- How does a mural project work?
- We first prepare and align sketches with parents and child, then paint on location. A clean white base wall should be ready in advance.
- Can I order copyrighted characters (Pokemon, Disney, etc.)?
- No, sorry. Copyright limitations apply, and we focus on original custom artwork.
- Are paintings delivered framed?
- That can be arranged by agreement. Framing is possible for an additional fee.
Art for Children is handmade, so pricing depends on scope and detail. We are happy to work within your available budget where possible.
