Comic drawing workshops for children and teens
Get started with comic drawing in a creative workshop that introduces the full process behind visual storytelling. It is a fun and educational activity for children and teens.
Participants learn to look beyond drawing only: emotion, character acting, layout, framing and visual pacing.
We cover story structure, sketching, character expression, action scenes, page composition, backgrounds, speech bubbles and comic symbols. The workshop works for all levels, including beginners.
This format works well for schools, libraries, cultural centers, youth groups, art academies, camps, associations, companies and private groups. For events, we also offer an open format where people can join and leave freely.
Comics combine writing, acting, illustration and cinematic thinking. We help participants understand how all these elements work together on one compelling page.
Both content and flow can be adapted to available time and audience age. Drawing skill is not required. Even simple doodles can become great stories.

- What age is this workshop suitable for?
- From age 7 and up, preferably once children can write. The workshop can be adapted for teens and adults as well.
- What is the minimum and maximum group size?
- Minimum 4, maximum around 25 participants, depending on setup.
- Can you provide longer lesson series?
- Yes. The minimum format is 2 hours, but longer sessions are possible and allow deeper learning.
- Can this workshop run during events?
- Yes. We offer an open event format with guided exercise sheets so participants can join, practice and leave freely.
This workshop costs EUR 125 for two hours, EUR 145 for three hours. We calculate travel costs at 0.38/km. We add this separately to your quote, because our artists are based in different locations and travel distances can vary.
